Wow. I have been wondering for this past week what I might blog about for my first real post, and I wasn't quite prepared to start the party yet anyways since I am still working on the new listings for my shop... but this opportunity cannot be passed up!!
I went on a creative bender a while back - escaped for some "me time" at Archiver's and bought up every adorable piece of paper that caught my eye. I wanted to create some new and fun items just to break up the repetition of shop designs. My first set was a campout theme, and the pennant banner and cupcake toppers were snatched up by a super nice blogging mom, Lisa of Moore Minutes.
I had no idea that Lisa had such amazing talent at styling birthday parties, and I would have never dreamed of this adorable and oh-so-creative camping party that she pulled off out in the wilderness! Can you imagine!?
She used these super fun cupcake toppers I made to decorate the s'mores bar, and displayed them in giant oversized marshmallows! So creative!

And I just LOVED seeing the adventure banner I made strung up in such an awesome setting!

I literally feel so honored just seeing my items used in such a fantastic and amazing party! Well, imagine then how surprised I was to see Lisa's party featured on Kara's Party Ideas, Birthday Girl, and Celebrations at Home! I was just so thrilled to see something that I made with my two hands on these inspiring blogs!!
And as if that wasn't enough to be happy about... Lisa's S'mores Buffet was also featured by Amy Atlas. AMY ATLAS. Let me say that again just in case. AMY ATLAS!!! I owe Lisa a million "thank you's" for being so fantastic, otherwise I would probably never have lived to see my creations on Sweet Designs.
Nope. I don't think I could have ever thought of a better way to launch my blog. Thank you Lisa!
Welcome everyone!!

Jill, I have this cheesy smile reading this whole post, lol. :D Thank you for your kindness! This feature is exciting to me. <3
ReplyDeleteI truly do LOVE your products. You do beautiful work and I have highly recommended you. Without your products, the party wouldn't have come together well. SO, thank YOU!
LOVE the tent!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That must have been mad exciting seeing your work on Amy's blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! It was one of those moments... we all watch Amy for her incredible inspiration - and I probably sound like a HUGE dork - but it was the thrill of my career!
